Genelle said "Since I love snow, I must love sin?" No, that is not why you love sin. You love sin because you are a sinner. If you hate sin, it is only because of the active work of Christ in your life through the Holy Spirit.

But this post was written mostly tongue in cheek. I, of course, do not believe that snow is sinful in any way. However, I do think that there were no seasons when Adam and Eve walked the earth, just as there was no rain until the flood. It would not make sense to assume that their was much weather variety before the flood anywhere on earth.

So, since I love snow, I must love sin?

Sorry, I'm not trying to be glib...I'm just trying to check my understanding of your theory and it's extension.

Here are a couple of questions to ponder....
What about the idea that the area in which we believe Eden was is not condusive to snow? How do we know that God, who is ultra creative and who loves great beauty, didn't just give us the variety of seasons (after the flood or not) as just another visual statements of His almighty existence?

Well, I did get to see the post about Hannah's hair. Very cute! You'll just have to take another pic after she's had some more time to grow it out. Maybe your post got "lost" because you are debunking a well accepted myth... =)

Your posts are disappearing because they are being "pressed" out of WORDPRESS! OKay maybe that sounded stupid. You have to admit that I at least tried!

Hi Phyllis, nice to hear from you! We have translated the Firm Foundations materials for the NT. I think you are familiar with the OT version (the big green book), this is the continuation to bring the new family member on in their understanding of new life. If you need more information you can email me on it. The final edit is almost over and on May 9th, I meet with the publishers in Moscow. I could give you an e-copy for private use.

Also, if you know of really great books that need to get translated, we have a process in place, and we are always looking for new ideas. I think you know the sort of books/materials that we are looking for.
